WANT TO BE BECOME AN INNSITTER?
Test your skills on a few of the questions you will find in THE INNSITTING INTERNET COURSE.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
- An innkeeper has agreed to hire you (via email). You mail a contract and request for a deposit. It is now 10 days before the 'job' and you haven't received the signed contract or the deposit. What do you do?
- You are informed that you will have a 'maid' to do the rooms in an 8 room B&B you are innsitting. A handicapped teenager shows up the first morning and is slow and poorly trained. What do you do?
- Your B&B is rated by AAA. The AAA inspector arrives on the doorstep to do their yearly inspection. Do you show them the inn with the innkeepers absent?
- A guest wants breakfast at 6.30am. The Inn's hours are 8am-9am. Do you get up early?
- The B&B's business line answering machine does not appear to be working correctly. Do you buy a new one?
- A man calls with an about-to-expire gift certificate - will you extend it?
- You have 6 guests at breakfast who are not talking. What do you say to break the ice?
- You are having problems with the B&B's computer and cannot get online to check email. Do you phone the innkeepers or the computer store?
